Chef Alois Vanlangenaeker has been cooking for over thirty years, the last twenty as a Michelin star chef. His dishes are light, fresh & classy. Using seasonal vegetables & local ingredients, he combines a variety of flavors and textures for a truly unique culinary experience. In 2002, Alois united his prestigious international experience together with Vito Cinque's dream of establishing a food culture for Il San Pietro, to bring a fresh new approach to fine dining. Alois' passion for food runs parallel to his passion for photography; creating new dishes and creating photographs are two sides of the same coin. It’s art. When not in the kitchen, he can frequently be seen at the Positano photo lab shop or walking his two Irish setters, Philippe & Mathilde.
