The chef

Chef Alois Vanlangenaeker has been cooking for over 30 years & a Michelin star chef for over 20. His dishes are light, fresh & classy. Using seasonal vegetables & local ingredients, he combines a variety of flavors and textures for a truly unique culinary experience. In 2002, Alois united his prestigious international experience together with owner Vito Cinque's dream of establishing a food culture for Il San Pietro, to create a fresh new approach to fine dining. Besides being a celebrated chef with 3 Michelin stars in his resumé, Chef Alois is also a music-lover & part-time photographer. When not in the kitchen, he can frequently be seen at the Positano photo lab shop or walking his two Irish setters, Philippe & Mathilde.
